Favorite of Guide Hachette, édition 2011 (2)

(1) Light gold. Refined nose of orange marmalade, almond paste, candied citrus… Riche, suave, velvety mouthfeel offering up a sterling range of candied aromatics. Sweetness is offset by freshness. A top-flight Muscat.

(2) Second year of presence in the Guide for this Italian citizen, who had a long career at one of the best wines of the Saint-Émilion, and already a favorite! Nice golden colour. The powerful and complex aromas evoke the citrus, overripe fruits, grapes, the white flowers, the menthol, the vanilla and sweet almond. The palate smooth and balanced show a fine evolution. A great wine that we like to imagine escorting a Hispano-Mauresque pie with almonds and lemon.
